Artist Statement
I am a visual artist and creative services professional based in East Tennessee. My fine art practice is figurative and expressive, focused on the drama of ordinary life — the weight, tension, and occasional revelation found in everyday human experience. Working primarily in paint, charcoal, graphite, and pastel on paper, my work draws on a tradition of emotionally direct mark-making while pushing toward abstraction at the edges of representation.
Alongside my studio practice, I offer a range of creative services including custom artwork, installation, custom framing, and broader creative solutions for individuals and organizations. I bring the same attention, intention, and curiosity to client projects that I do to my personal work.
I am actively seeking exhibition opportunities in the Knoxville area and welcome conversation with galleries, curators, and collaborators.
